Summer is on the way! (We hope) Warmer weather in Minnesota often leads to physical activity outside and away from the gym. However, don’t put your gym membership on hold! Weight training is still an important component to your fitness that we often cannot replicate outdoors!

- Lose body fat! Muscle is more metabolically active than fat and an increase in muscle mass will lead to a boost in your metabolism which leads to a higher calorie burn at rest and reduced body fat.
