About Nathan Deboer, Featured Artist.  Nathaniel (Nate) DeBoer was born and raised in Rochester, MN. From a young age his formal training with music and his interest in film gave him an outlet to explore his abilities in the creative arts. He earned college degrees in music and business, pursuing an emphasis in visual arts and audio to create multi-media productions. DeBoer’s film projects have received awards and recognition from multiple festivals.

Nate began his self-taught pursuit of photography while filming in Guatemala and NYC in 2014. Throughout 2015, he secured grant funds for an emotional abuse awareness multi-media art exhibit titled “The Sound of Scars.” He collaborated with local artists to combine photo-graphy, mixed media, and original music scores. Together it created an emotionally impactful gallery with transformative real-life stories.

In early 2016, Nate began his passionate journey as a travel photographer. He has trekked across 6 countries, 17 national parks, and 30,000 road trip miles in the course of his travels. DeBoer aims to capture awe inspiring beauty in the serene moments that nature presents in everywhere he goes.
