Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork is a unique modality designed to improve overall flexibility, increase energy and achieve balance in your lifestyle.  It is considered an ancient healing art of Traditional Thai Medicine.  The session is performed on a floor mat with the client dressed in loose comfortable clothing, preferably cotton. Both 90 minute and two hour sessions are available.  The Thai Therapist incorporates a combination of assisted yoga poses and stretching excercises during the session, in addition to acupressure therapy on the Chinese Meridians, in Thai called SEN Lines, to achieve overall balance of the energy channels and chakras.

Hot Herbal Compress Therapy is also offered as a $10 option.  The herbal compress is blended with exotic organic healing herbs that help relieve stress and inflammation, essentially steaming away aches and pains. In Thailand, this therapy is called ‘luk pra kob’ and is considered an ancient Thai Healing Art. This technique is very relaxing and has therapeutic benefits as well.  To continue the healing process, the client is given the compress to take home to use as an herbal bath infusion.
